PEMBERDAYAAN PEREMPUAN PADA KELOMPOK WANITA TANI (KWT) NURJANAH DI DESA KIMAK KECAMATAN MERAWANG KABUPATEN BANGKA

Abstract

Women’s empowerment is an effort to increase family income so that there is an increase in the quality of life and independence for women.one of the empowerment carried out o women is though agriculture such as the women farmer group Nurjanah Kimak village Merawang  district Bangka regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the empowerment model and identify empowerment strategies for women by the women farmers group Nurjanah Kimak village Merawang  district Bangka regency. This study was analyzed using the Jim Ife empowerment strategy. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study found that the group of women farmers Nurjanah in carrying out their activities using the button-up empowerment model, from the community by the community and back to the community. As for the strategy used in the group of women farmers Nurjanah is (1) planning and policies carried out through socialization. (2)social action carried out through various activities of the women farmer group Nurjanah, and (3) raising awarenessand education through training or teaching.
